PATRIOT GOLF DAY AT the Course at Aberdeen (Valparaiso)

The Folds of Honor Foundation Supports military men, women and families by golfing

This August 16th a 1:00 PM, a golf outing with a shotgun start will allow NWI residents to play golf and support the children of our country’s service men and women; join The Course at Aberdeen in their 5th annual Patriot Golf Day. Since its inception in 2007, PGA Professionals and the USGA have helped provide more than 10 million dollars annually in scholarships to the young men and women who have either lost a parent or had a parent get severely wounded while defending our country during their US Military Service post 911.  Patriot Golf Day events across the country allow the Folds of Honor Foundation to award more than 6,000 educational scholarships every year.

There are more than 172,000 dependents of fallen and wounded military service men and women from the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts alone and 87 percent do not qualify for federal education assistance as of Jan. 1, 2012.  Patriot Golf Day allows the Folds of Honor Foundation to represent an ongoing tribute to our brave service members by ensuring that the families of fallen and wounded warriors have hope for the right educational start to life and the best future possible.

WE CAN NEVER FORGET THE SCRAFICE THAT THESE FAMILIES HAVE GIVEN FOR OUR FREEDOM
